Q: My seats are 5-7-9-11. Are they together?
A: Yes, your seats are
together. Our odd numbered seats are on the left side of the theatre
and the even numbered seats are on the right side of the theatre. The
center section of the theatre seats are numbered consecutively, starting
with 101 in each row.

Q: How many seats are in the theatre?
A: The theatre has 1904 seats
with 1144 in the orchestra section and 760 upstairs.

Q: How long is the show?
A: Each show varies in length. Usually, most
musicals will run about two hours and 30 minutes. To find the running
length of a specific show, you are welcome to call the theatre on the
day of the show.

Q: How far are the seats from the stage?
A: The front row of seats
is approximately 15 ft. from the stage. The last row of our balcony is
only 125 feet from the stage making the Hershey Theatre a very intimate
venue to watch any show.

Q: Do you have an elevator?
A: We do not have an elevator to the balcony.
Should someone in your party need special seating, we will make every
effort to accommodate your needs. Please feel free to call us for arrangements.

Q: Where is the parking? What if it’s full?
A: There is a large parking
lot directly across the street from the Caracas Ave. entrance. Should
that parking lot be filled, there is additional parking off Caracas Avenue,
one block on your left. There is no charge to park in these lots.

Q: If it snows, will they cancel the show?
A: Just like Broadway, the
show must go on. As long as the company presenting the show is in Hershey,
the show will be performed.

Q: If I can’t attend, can I get my money back?
A: Unfortunately, all
sales are final and there will be no refunds if you cannot attend a performance.

Q: Why does an infant or child need a
ticket?
A: Every patron of the
theatre needs to have a ticket, no matter what the age. Having a child
sitting on your lap may be very distracting to patrons sitting near you.
It could also hinder the view of the patrons sitting behind you.

Q: Can I use my tickets another day?
A: Your tickets are only good
for the day of the performance. If you forgot to attend a performance,
we will try to accommodate you at another performance of the same show,
if possible.

Q: Is this a dinner theatre?
A: Then, why are the tickets priced so
high? We are not a dinner theatre. Ticket prices are many times pre-determined,
but rest assured, we try to keep the costs as affordable as possible.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Dress at the theatre varies by event, but
generally, casual to dressy casual seems to be the normal attire.

Q: Can I exchange my tickets for a different show?
A: Tickets may
be exchanged for a different performance of the same show for a small
fee. We cannot exchange tickets between single performances.

Q: Can I fax my gift certificate, or use it by phone?
A: We will always
accept your gift certificate, but the actual certificate itself has to
be in our possession in order for us to honor it. You are welcome to
send the gift certificate to us or bring it to the box office during
our regular business hours.
